Common issues
Announcements are not triggering
Check that M-TrackR has permission to access Apple Music (Settings → M-TrackR), that the radio is enabled in the app, and that the media volume is not muted. For Spotify, check the account is connected in the app's settings.
Spotify shows as disconnected
Open M-TrackR's settings, disconnect then reconnect Spotify. The connection normally renews on its own; reconnecting solves nearly every case.
Announcements stop when the screen locks
M-TrackR is designed to keep running in the background. Make sure the app was not manually closed (swiped away in the app switcher) and that a Focus mode is not blocking audio.
The lock screen "Now Playing" tile shows M-TrackR
This is a known effect of background operation: M-TrackR keeps an audio session alive to stay active. Your music playback is not affected.
How do I launch M-TrackR automatically?
A step-by-step guide is built into the app (Settings → Automatic launch): it creates a Shortcuts automation that opens M-TrackR as soon as you launch Apple Music or Spotify.
How do I manage or cancel my subscription?
The M-TrackR subscription (30 days free, then $0.99 per month) is managed by Apple. To cancel: iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions → M-TrackR → Cancel. Access remains active until the end of the current period. To restore a subscription on a new iPhone, use "Restore purchases" in the app.
